These prints are hand burnished with a brayer or wooden spoon. I enjoy the control this allows me with regards to the detail and contrast within the image. This means there is slight variation between prints as each is an original. In the reduction method of printing each colour layer is taken from the same block. More lino is removed from the block for each layer and each colour is printed on top of the last. This means that an entire edition must be printed in one go.
